The theme of the 23rd MEP is “Adapting Web 3.0 for the Society Advancement”. Students will be challenged to seize the initiatives by using the design-thinking approach to meet the social needs in the Web 3.0 era. Each team can explore the theme with respect to four areas: (1) Wellness, (2) Education, (3) Cultural Preservation, (4) People Connection.

Eligibility

The competition is open to S.4 – S.6 students in a team format. Each team shall consist of 4 to 6 students and a Team Advisor. The Team Advisor could be a teacher or a staff-in-charge.
The team must be nominated by the school or organization.
A teacher or staff-in-charge must be assigned as a Team Advisor in each team.

Mode of competition

Each team shall submit a proposal on this year theme and pitch to the judges at the final competition.
In order to facilitate students to better equip in the business proposal writing, workshops and organization visits will be conducted for participating teams.
The programme will be conducted mainly in Cantonese. (Learning materials will be supplemented with English)

Proposal format

Each team must submit MEP Business Proposal Form which could be written in Chinese or English, in PDF format electronically.
The proposal framework can be founded in the Guidebook P.11-12.
