Welcome to MEP 26! From November 2025 to April 2026, we invite students, teachers, and mentors to embark on an exciting journey under the inspiring theme: “Shaping a Sustainable Future and Better Living.” This year, students will have the opportunity to innovate and create solutions aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 5: Gender Equality, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Guided by experienced mentors, student teams will develop practical business plans for services, products, or projects that drive meaningful, sustainable impact.

Eligibility

• The competition is open to S.4 – S.6 students in a team format. Each team shall consist of 4 to 6 students and a Team Advisor. The Team Advisor could be a teacher or a staff-in-charge.
• The team must be nominated by the school or organization.
• A teacher or staff-in-charge must be assigned as a Team Advisor in each team.

Mode of competition

• Each team shall submit a proposal on this year theme and pitch to the judges at the final competition.
• In order to facilitate students to better equip in the business proposal writing, workshops and organization visits will be conducted for participating teams.
• The programme will be conducted mainly in Cantonese. (Learning materials will be supplemented with English)

Proposal format

• Each team must submit MEP Business Proposal Form which could be written in Chinese or English, in PDF format electronically.
• The proposal framework can be founded in the Guidebook P.11-12.
